My first post and a request!

Hello everyone, one or two of you on here will know who I am but I have signed a publishing deal for a book on the Norwegian campaign of 1940 - Here are the chapter titles:

Chapter 13 Narvik -The Final Assault
Chapter 14 The Evacuation of Narvik
Chapter 15 The German Navy actions Operation Juno and HMS Glorious
Chapter 16 Other operations - Maurice, Sickle and Hammer
Chapter 17 The 148th Brigade

The book (well the first volume) is planned to be published in the early part of 2014 and I am currently working on photos for the book...so if anyone has any photos from that period they would be willing to share I'd be happy to hear from them.....I will as usual credit anyone who helps.....By the way this will be my ninth book. I'd like to add I am not a professional author just an enthusiastic amateur!!!!!

I think you have got all of my photos, but have a look on my thread (8th Bn Sherwood Foresters - Last Stand at Tretten) to see if if you need any of the documents I copied at the National Archives. Have the full war diaries for 8 SF, 1/5 Leicesters and 148 Infantry Brigade. I have also received quite a lot of photos of the German Armoured Division Pelengahr if you would like some of those.

Hello Airborne medic, I am very interested in any book that covers the land battles in 1940. Will you be telling the story using sources from all sides ? (ie Norwegian and French as well as English and German)

Yes but concentrates on the German side and the Allied reaction but of course the Norwegians are mentioned...without giving too much away the manuscript is about 350,000 words....

I might have photos covering many of your chapters. I have a nice collection of original photos.
