I see his file at Kew is still closed.

Is he still alive? If not, you can get his file opened with an obituary or similar "proof" of his death.

Thank for that Now I have the link to it.
But what about all the infomation I have there must be more out there with info to add to it. I have a lot of info about him during the war and after.
He died in 1958. He was not married and as far as I know he had no children.
I have a bit of all sorts from a birthday card his 32nd from King George to accounts from places he traveled to. Maps of his from Norway in the war and all his code books and silk's. Lots of his cards to get him in clubs through out London. Also notes of his privat thoughts after the war, A leter where he asked the Norwegian goverment if he could be took out of service as he had been in England becouse of bad health.
Lots of his documents from Kompani Linge and his "fulmakt" for the company. His comments on a film about Norway WWII. Orignal equipment lists from Op Snowflake. Travel documents from Norway in the war. ect. ect.
I could put some pictures up of some of it if people are interested.

Well, there is not much written about Ratvik, so why don't you write a summary of his life here? Would be interesting to read. Snowflace is also fairly unknown. Have you talked to Ulstein? He knew Ratvik.

I am Per Ratvik grandnephew and I am writing an article about him. I got his file from the National Archives, the film he edited/produced, private photos, letters and books and short stories he edited/wrote, as well as news paper articles. I am very interesting in everything about him, as there seem to be not much written about him previously. And can anybody tip me about info on the Snowflake operation?

I see paulw has info on him, but he has not been logged on here for a while.
