Unique pictures 1940

Hi.

Have recently scanned an album which belonged to my late grandfather. He was an officer in the Norwegian army in the AAA (FlaK) branch, being stationed in Northern Norway in 1939, then at Rjukan in Southern Norway in 1940. His battery participated in the fighting in April 1940.

These pictures are posted at Tore E`s website, he generously donated time and space to make these pics available.
Kudos, Tore!!

I was inspired by his selfless sharing of pictures.
Maybe someone else has interesting pictures in their cupboard, as well. Why not share them?

Thank you for sharing this with us.

I have seen some albums taken by Norwegian officers and soldiers. This is the best one I have seen. The details on some of the photos are amazing, and is a good refrence for further study.
