TV film/Movie/Drama seen on Norwegian TV

Hi

While in Norway earlier this year I saw an interesting film involving
a Finn (husband/soldier) a Norwegian (wife/nurse) and a German Lieutenant
in charge of building a camp and fortifications. As far as I could make out
it was filmed on location way up north near the coast... A small fishing/farming village.

It was based on a true story
The soldier returns from the winter war and marries the nurse only to go off again to
fight in the Continuation war. Nurse has his baby daughter and is more or less forced to
help the German invaders keep the Russian prisoners alive...
Thinking the husband is dead due to rumours and MIA telegram she has a sort of short
romance with the Lieutenant (he saves her from suicide after villagers freeze her out!).
Husband returns home after deserting from army and escaping death sentence only
to see wife with German officer. Husband tries to kill officer but can't - tries to hang himself
and is saved by wife and officer. Officer already in trouble with local SS/Gestapo does not
report back on duty. Anyway all ends well and all four manage to escape across the
snow-covered border to Sweden... The End!

Well, almost... In the final text it is mentioned that the husband was returned to Finland after
the war and executed. The German officer was returned to the Germans and executed in 1944.
Only the wife and daughter survived. I think it is she (the daughter) who tells the story after
her mother dies much later in life. Anyone any idea what I'm talking about...?

Would like to see it again - maybe add it to my DVD collection if available.

It is this I believe, and is called "Krigerens hjerte" from 1992.

Checked the cover and recognise the actors, plot etc.
No idea it was that old though, would have thought it
to be much newer!
