French author. Interesting stuff, covers the British supply issues, 50.000 cigarettettes were sent to central Norway, the troops looted the city. French sent firewood to their troops, ( to a country with over 90% forest cover),
British sent some anti aircraft guns, but no sights. Decision to invade Trondheim reversed 6 times!!

He does repeat the same error of saying german navy never recovered, ( Destroyers lost at Narvik replaced the next year, plus no losses of heavy units, Schanrnhorst, Gneisenau & Bismark & Tirpitz yet to be commissioned), not to mention Scheer went operational shortly therafter & Seydlitz was 95% complete & could have replaced Blucher.

But he says it would have had little to do with operation Sealowe.
